Game Informer has made a return along with its full team. On Tuesday, editor-in-chief Matt Miller revealed that Gunzilla Games has acquired the rights to the gaming publication, facilitating the relaunch of the website and restoring access to its archives.

The publication’s new owner, Gunzilla Games, is a European game development company currently creating a battle royale game named Off the Grid. According to Miller, the magazine will retain its independence as a new entity called Game Informer, Inc. “Our goal is to continue spotlighting the most exciting games, honoring the gaming industry’s legacy, and focusing on the creators and players shaping its future,” states Miller.

Besides reviving its website, Game Informer also intends to bring back its print version, featuring “new membership and subscription benefits.” Although subscriptions aren’t yet available, you can create an account on their site to receive updates and access the magazine’s archives. Game Informer will start immediately updating its site with news, reviews, previews, in-depth articles, event coverage, and more.
