I wasn’t expecting any discounts on Switch 2 games anytime soon. Although finding the console in stock has become much easier, we’re not accustomed to seeing game discounts, particularly for first-party Nintendo launch titles. However, there’s currently a 10 percent reduction on popular games like Mario Kart World and the Switch 2 versions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. While these price cuts are modest, they inch these titles closer to what you’d pay for last-gen Switch games, which is a good deal in my opinion.
Mario Kart World is an impressive title to kick off your Switch 2 gaming library. It offers a variety of new tracks, fresh moves, weapons, characters, and an open roam mode full of activities. The Switch 2 editions of Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild enhance these already remarkable games, thanks to upgraded graphics. Both run at 60 frames per second and boast higher resolution visuals. Additionally, the games feature Zelda Notes, which effectively acts like a GPS mode, helping players easily locate shrines and Korok seeds.
