It’s important to note, however, that these updated features, including the new highlight reel templates and text overlays, will initially be exclusive to Android users.

In addition to these upgrades, the video editor in Google Photos has undergone a significant redesign. It now features a universal timeline for trimming and reorganizing clips, taking inspiration from user interfaces seen in popular apps like TikTok’s CapCut and Instagram. This overhaul also makes it simpler to add custom text and music to your videos, thanks to a reimagined interface that facilitates music browsing within Google Photos.
