The Lenovo Legion Go S is RAMageddon’s latest victim

Not every model in the Legion Go S lineup is seeing a drastic price hike, but none are priced as they initially were. The Windows Z1 Extreme version now carries a price tag of $1,679.99, though it’s currently being offered at a discounted rate of $1,049.99. Meanwhile, B&H is selling it for $1,299.99.

Lenovo has yet to provide an official response regarding the situation, but it seems likely that the company is discreetly phasing out this model in light of what some have dubbed “RAMageddon.” Numerous listings for different versions of this handheld device have vanished from major retailers and even from Lenovo’s own site.

Could Lenovo be preparing to unveil an updated version? It seems possible, as the company’s website has started to reference the device as the “Lenovo Legion Go S Gen 1,” according to Google searches.

In contrast, Anthony Spence, a representative from Asus, mentioned earlier this month that there are no anticipated price hikes for the Xbox Ally X in the U.S. He reaffirmed this stance, stating that it remains true up to this point.
