Persona 4 is getting a remake

One of gaming’s worst-kept secrets is now officially out. During the Xbox Games Showcase, Atlus revealed that a full remake of Persona 4 is underway, titled Persona 4 Revival. Although specifics such as the release date remain under wraps, a brief teaser trailer was shared. The game is set to release on Xbox, PS5, and PC, and will be available to Game Pass subscribers.

Persona 4, which introduced a murder mystery angle to the popular RPG series, originally launched on the PlayStation 2 back in 2008. The game saw a significant revival when an enhanced version, Persona 4 Golden, was released on the PS Vita three years later.

Regarding future developments, Atlus stated that they are actively working on the next phase for the Persona series. This suggests we might finally get news about Persona 6 in the near future.
