Samsung is revolutionizing the gaming monitor market with its 2026 lineup, led by the groundbreaking Odyssey 3D G90XH. This monitor is the first of its kind to boast a 6K display with “glasses-free 3D” technology. Featuring a 32-inch IPS panel, it includes real-time eye-tracking that dynamically adjusts depth and perspective according to the viewer’s position. Gamers will also appreciate its rapid 165Hz refresh rate, which can be boosted to an impressive 330Hz in 3K using the Dual Mode feature.
The 2026 Odyssey 3D represents an advancement over Samsung’s previous CES showcase, which featured a smaller 27-inch screen with 4K resolution. While other brands like Asus, Dell, and LG have introduced 6K monitors, none match the Odyssey’s unique 3D capabilities or its gaming-centric design. Specific games, including Stellar Blade, Lies of P: Overture, and The First Berserker: Khazan, are optimized for the Odyssey 3D. Additionally, popular titles such as Black Myth: Wukong, Hogwarts Legacy, Palworld, and Silent Hill 2 also support its 3D effects.
Samsung’s lineup doesn’t stop at 3D innovation. The Odyssey G6 G60H is set to make its mark as the “world’s first” 1,040Hz gaming monitor. This 27-inch display achieves this unprecedented refresh rate in HD, while maintaining an impressive 600Hz at its native 1440p resolution. It’s fully compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync, catering to high-performance gaming needs.
Further expanding the Odyssey range, Samsung has unveiled three new G8 models. The 32-inch G80HS offers 6K resolution with refresh rates up to 165Hz, or 330Hz at 3K. There’s also a 27-inch 5K G80HF model, capable of reaching 180Hz, or 360Hz at 1440p. Another G8 variant features a 4K OLED display, offering a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, 300-nit brightness, and True Black 500 certification for deeper, more vivid blacks. All these models are equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync support.
While Samsung has yet to announce pricing or availability for these innovative monitors, the Odyssey 3D is anticipated to come with a hefty price tag, likely exceeding the $2,000 cost of Samsung’s existing 4K 3D models.
