MTV is bidding farewell to one of its most enduring shows, “Ridiculousness,” as confirmed by sources to Nexstar’s KTLA. The beloved series, which captured audiences with its comedic take on viral internet videos, will come to an end after a remarkable 14-year run.

As of October 31, no new episodes will be produced. However, viewers can still enjoy previously made episodes, which will air on MTV through the conclusion of the 2026 season. This decision marks a significant shift for the network, which seeks to evolve its programming strategy.

Since its debut on August 29, 2011, “Ridiculousness” has been a staple on MTV, delighting fans across 46 seasons. Hosted by Rob Dyrdek, the show became known for its humorous critique of “ridiculous” internet videos, with a lively panel of co-hosts and guests joining in the fun.

The cancellation was first reported by TMZ, citing that the decision came from the network’s senior executives and was communicated to the cast and crew earlier this week.

According to sources, MTV is planning to revitalize its brand by embracing innovative concepts, highlighting new creative voices, and introducing fresh programming formats. Despite the end of new episodes, fans can still catch past seasons on MTV, with select episodes available for streaming on Paramount+.

Previous seasons of all produced episodes are said to continue airing on MTV, and select seasons will continue to stream on Paramount+.
