What if we replayed Liverpool v Chelsea when Luis Garcia scored the Champions League semi-final ‘ghost goal’ in 2005?

What if we replayed England v Germany when Frank Lampard’s shot crossed the line in 2010? Hell, we could go back to the 1966 World Cup final when West Germany were adamant that Geoff Hurst’s shot did not cross the line for England.

Plenty of teams have been wronged by diabolical decisions. I’m not saying it is right. But it happens. It is football. Errors happen.

He spoke so sensibly after the game on Saturday. And now he has come out with this tripe.

Jurgen Klopp has called for Liverpool's match with Tottenham to be replayed following VAR's 'significant error' in disallowing Luis Diaz's strike during Saturday's 2-1 away defeat

Darren England - who was on VAR - wrongly believed the on-field decision to be 'goal', meaning he said the check was complete, despite the Colombian forward being clearly onside

Before VAR was brought in, we saw plenty of offsides which were incorrect.

I’ve been on the wrong end of them myself. I played in the 2003 Scottish League Cup final when John Hartson scored an equaliser for Celtic against Rangers, only to be flagged off. He was on by two yards and we went on to lose 2-1.

I would be embarrassed if my manager called for a replay. I feel for VAR Darren England amid the anger shown towards him.

He made a mistake and you better believe that he knows it now after all this. If Liverpool are granted a replay, it would set a dangerous precedent.

Klopp's calls for a replay are utter tripe. Several teams have been wronged by bad decisions
