Angela Dawn Flores, 38, was arrested on suspicion of three charges of murder on Sunday and is being held instead of $6 million bails, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to police and a TV report, she and a juvenile thought to be her 16-year-old son were arrested today in the deaths of her three adolescent children in their West Hills home.
Other details about the culprit, who Fox 11 reported was the woman’s 16-year-old son, were withheld by police.
LAPD Officer Matthew Cruz responded to a 911 call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon at a property in the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard.
According to Officer D. Orris of the LAPD Operations Center, officers discovered a 12-year-old girl and her 8-year-old twin brothers unresponsive. The toddlers were pronounced deceased by paramedics who arrived on the site.
The reason for death has not been reported by police, and their identities have been withheld.
