When Andy Woodward revealed that his former coach, Barry Bennell, had sexually harassed him, most people suspected if he is gay.
On the other hand, Andy Woodward hasn’t gone as for as to disclose his sexual orientation. As per our knowledge, his sexuality is straight.
Andy Woodward, 48, was the first athlete to come forward, revealing that he had been assaulted by coach Barry Bennell, 67, who had previously done three prison sentences for child sex offenses.
It happened when Andy was a member of Crewe Alexandra’s youth squad, between 11 and 15.

Speaking on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire show, Woodward stated, “I had it locked up in my head.”
He further added that Bennell threatened him to take away his career, saying, “It was that control- that all I wanted to do was be a player.”
