A P-plater trying to offload their iconic Ford Falcon in the twilight of its life has used a photo that could only appeal to other revheads.
The Sydney driver uploaded a photo of the 1999 Ford Falcon to Facebook Marketplace for $3,000 and included a photo of when they’d been caught by NSW Police Highway Patrol.
In the photo, the police car’s sirens could be seen flashing away while the officer bends down next to the maroon-coloured car to check out its wheels.
After 23 years on the road, the automatic transition Ford had clocked up 152,000kms with the P-plater revealed it was in need of a new owner.
Originally listed at $6,000, the driver slashed the price by 50 per cent after three days on Marketplace.

Even at the new, low price of $3,000, Aussies questioned if anyone would be crazy enough to buy it.
‘152,000km for a 99′ yeah nah mate ya dreamin,’ one wrote.
Although this one had no doubt seen better days, the Ford Falcon has been a staple of Aussie roads since production started in 1960.
The last Falcon rolled off the production line in October 2016 after Ford announced it would be ending local production of its cars.
Since fading from the limelight, the cars enjoyed a rebirth with revheads who typically buy older vehicles second hand to push them to their limits.
Among revheads, the Falcon is a popular choice for anyone looking to burn rubber in a car park, or in front of police on busy roads.
A member of the Mexican Hoon Cartel, a notorious Gold Coast driving group with nearly 50,000 subscribers on Youtube, was seen in Bendigo, Victoria outrunning police after skidding.
