People must pick which side of history they are on and apply boycotts and sanctions on those who oppose transgender rights as the atmosphere worsens.

She argues there is an inherent problem with labeling men and women as cis or trans, aside from writing about this particular film. When authors refer to Dhont as a cis male director and Victor Polster as a cis male actor, despite neither of them identifying as such, it becomes a mistake.

She was president of the Cambridge University Quiz Society and reached the semi-finals of BBC‘s University Challenge while studying history at Trinity College, Cambridge. She also served as the college’s LGBT+ Officer for a year, introducing policies to allow for self-expression.
