Jon Kay is already a fan favorite among BBC viewers, which is perhaps why he’s a 1/2 chance to fill Dan Walker’s shoes.

He is most recognized for his work on BBC News as a television presenter, newsreader, and journalist.

Moreover, he began his career as a reporter for BBC Radio Bristol after working at local BBC radio stations. He currently covers the southwest as a news correspondent for the BBC’s leading news channel.

He’s also a regular host on BBC Breakfast, making him a terrific fit for the post and an excellent contender for an internal promotion.

Bookies are confident that BBC Breakfast star Jon Kay will take Dan’s place, according to the Daily Personality. Jon fills up for him when Dan is out on vacation, presenting alongside Naga Munchetty and Sally Nugent.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told the Daily Star exclusively that it’s increasingly probable that BBC management has chosen Dan’s replacement with Jon. He is also no stranger to the Breakfast family.

Jon presently has a 1/2 chance of replacing Dan. When contacted by Entertainment Daily!, the BBC said “no comment.”

Furthermore, Jon most recently filled in for Dan when he was absent from the sofa in early March. And viewers were quick to congratulate Jon again on social media at the time.

One Twitter user tweeted as Jon is a fantastic presenter. Following his discussion with Transportation Secretary Grant Schnapps, one person wrote, “great effort from Jon.”
