2022 has been the year of the babies on Days of Our Lives. Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) welcomed their son Bo. Meanwhile, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is about to give birth to Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) baby.
The baby boom won’t stop with Ciara, and Jan. Fans speculate that another woman will be in the family way; let’s look at a few candidates.
‘Days of Our Lives’ villain Gwen Rizczech’s pregnancy disrupts Xander Kiriakis’ life
The number one candidate to become pregnant next is Days of Our Lives villain Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Gwen’s dream of marrying Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) shatters when he learns that Gwen knew about Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) being held in captivity. After breaking up with Gwen, Xander hopes to reunite with Sarah.
Yet, a surprise pregnancy may have the dad rethinking his decision. On a Reddit thread, fans suspect Gwen will use a baby to trap Xander. “Gwen is the main candidate. Once Xarah are getting back together, she will announce she is pregnant; it’s her final hope,” wrote one viewer.
“Gwen pregnant with a Kiriakis baby, I would love it. The baby would be Victor’s great-niece or great-nephew but also would be Jack’s grandchild,” another fan replied.
Belle Brady’s affair leads to pregnancy
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is the mother of Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Claire is the only daughter of Belle and Shawn, but she’s getting more half-siblings. Shawn and Jan’s baby is due any day, but that may not be the only child on the way.

Jan’s pregnancy has caused tension in Belle and Shawn’s marriage, which has her seeking comfort from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Their friendship’s taken a romantic turn with the two locking lips. Before long, Belle and EJ will be hitting the sheets.
Naturally, Belle will feel guilty for cheating on Shawn again. While she’ll want to get her and EJ’s rendezvous a secret, a surprise pregnancy will expose their affair.
Chanel Dupree is involved in a who’s the daddy storyline on ‘Days of Our Lives’
The next Days of Our Lives lady who may become pregnant is Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Chanel’s love life is complicated. Chanel is married to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), but he dumped his new bride while possessed by The Devil. Chanel then dated Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) but has feelings for Johnny’s sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

However, more chaos may occur when Chanel becomes pregnant but doesn’t know if Johnny or Tripp is the dad. Although who’s the daddy storylines are a played-out plot, fans wouldn’t mind one for Chanel. “I’d have a WTD storyline with Chanel, Johnny, and Tripp. Chanel and Allie could end up raising the baby together, forgoing a DNA test,” suggested a Reddit user.
Miracle baby for Nicole Walker?
Another lady Days of Our Lives fans believe could be a mom again is Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Nicole is already a mom to Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander), whose father is the late Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian). Holly was born via surrogacy thanks to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Doctors informed Nicole that she wouldn’t be able to carry a child. However, there’s usually a reversal in medical diagnosis in soap operas. Nicole may become pregnant, which would make for compelling drama. Of course, there will be her shock and worry as she wonders if she’ll carry the baby to term.
Also, don’t be surprised if there’s a who’s the daddy storyline with Nicole’s baby. The child’s father could be Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) or Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
