UFC On ESPN+ 36 Results, Recap, Full Fight Video: Khamzat Chimaev’s Record Setting Win

Khamzat Chimaev has fought three times in the UFC and he’s won all three of those fights. He’s won fight-night bonus awards in each of those bouts. Two of Chimaev’s fights have taken place at middleweight and one at welterweight. His opponents have landed a total of one significant strike during the course of those fights. Chimaev has won each fight by stoppage. Perhaps most impressively, Chimaev has won all three of this scraps since his debut on July, 16, 2020. No other fighter has won three fights as fast in UFC history.

Something to keep in mind about this record is that Chimaev wanted to fight sooner than last night, but he had difficulty getting a visa.

According to UFC president Dana White, Chimaev could fight again very soon.

Chimaev’s win at UFC on ESPN+ 36 took all of 17 seconds. He landed a total of four strikes in scoring a devastating knockout win over Gerald Meerschaert on the main card.
