Police continue to search for Pennsylvania woman who has been missing for over a week.

WNEP reports that Katlyn Harp, 33, disappeared from Columbia County on June 19. Harp was last seen at around 9 p.m. at her home on Fairview Drive.

Vinny Harp, the husband of Harp, informed authorities that he got a brief text from his wife indicating she needed “a break” and mentioned that some friends would be picking her up.

She allegedly added at the end, “Please don’t destroy my s***. I need my space to clear my head,” according to Daily Voice.

Police have not confirmed if the messages were written by Kathryn.

Hemlock Township police, joined by state police, are utilizing multiple resources in the search for Harp, FOX 56 reports.

Petroski stated that various resources have been deployed in the search efforts, including PSP Aviation, the PSP K-9 Unit, the Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) Drone Team, and teams from the Pennsylvania Game Commission with ATVs.

On social media, some individuals have voiced concerns about Vincent Harp’s history. According to court records from 2018, accessed by Daily Voice, there were claims of domestic violence linked to his previous marriage with Stephanie Harp, 33, who passed away in 2021. Additionally, Vincent Harp has previously been charged with making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, and harassment in a different case.

Harp is described as a white female with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information concerning Harp or her whereabouts is encouraged to contact PSP Bloomsburg at 570-387-4701 or dial 911.
