The spotlight is shared by the McBee brothers and their connections in Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys on Bravo. The first episode of the new season also brings back McBee CFO Galyna Saltkovska, who discovers her ex, Steve McBee Sr., has been secretly dating her close friend Masha. This season will depict Galyna as she battles to keep her attention on the business she co-founded, amidst growing personal turmoil.

In the debut episode, viewers get to hear the producers ask Tessa, the farm’s Fuel Distribution Manager and unofficial Farm Mom, about Masha: “Has she taken Galyna’s place?”

“Absolutely,” Tessa answered with a chuckle. “We’ve been aware of this Russian situation. This is the second time in a row… I have to say, my boss always involves me in such matters. It seems like I’m constantly handling his messy situations.”

Cue: A flashback to Season 1, when Tessa was on the front lines of the drama between Steve Sr., his now-ex-girlfriend Brooke, and Galyna. Tessa attempted to play peacemaker between Galyna and Brooke after an incident with Brooke’s car, but the women ended up throwing insults back and forth anyway, calling each other “pathetic.”

“I keep saying, ‘Yes,’ so it’s on me,” Tessa said of how she keeps finding herself playing referee.

Tessa gave audiences a rundown of the drama in the premiere episode: “Masha first met Steve McBee through Galyna… Listen, you got the old gal, you got the new gal. And … I’m telling you, ain’t nothing good can come out of this mess.” 

As Galyna later tells Calah Jackson in the episode, when she and Masha met over 10 years ago, Galyna felt they understood each other thanks to their similar backgrounds; they spoke the same language, and “had something in common” because of it.

According to Masha, she and Steve Sr. have been dating for quite a while, and Masha seemed comfortable in Steve Sr.’s cabin, in which he told her to make herself at home.

“The gold digger has moves,” Galyna quipped to Calah in the episode after Calah called Masha a “snake.” (See more in the clip above.)

Galyna’s relationship status in McBee Season 2

As Calah clarified in the premiere episode, Galyna is “single and ready to mingle” with Steve Sr. out of her (romantic) life.

“My romantic [life] is a little bit on hold right now just because I don’t feel that, emotionally, I am quite there yet to commit or to go on dates,” Galyna told The Daily Dish during filming Season 2. “I’m just trying to work on myself, put what happened behind me, and heal before I will start committing or seeing anybody. 

“I am obviously planning and hoping to meet somebody in the future, but it’s not gonna be fair to that person the way I am right now,” she added. “So I need just a little pause, focus on the business, focus on my health and fitness. That’s what’s important to me right now.”

Galyna teases a “super positive” Season 2 moment

Thinking on everything that goes down in Season 2, Galyna was, at first, hesitant to give too much away. When asked if she was excited about fans seeing the season’s new developments, she said: “I don’t know if I’m excited to see some of the turn of the events that happened since Season 1. It was, in a way, traumatic for me. And extremely emotional,” she explained. “I’m working through those events, you know? Staying with the boys…

“But there is one extremely positive twist that I am super excited about,” she added, teasing that it’s with one particular member of the McBee series. “[It’s] super positive … really beneficial for my relationship with the boys and the business.”
