An Australian influencer has shared her frustration after claiming Ticketmaster accidentally charged her $80,000 for Ariana Grande concert tickets.

Jade Campbell, from Brisbane, recently took to TikTok with a passionate rant about an error she encountered while attempting to buy two tickets for an upcoming concert by her favorite singer in Canada.

‘Ticketmaster charged us $80,000 for Ariana Grande tickets. I am not exaggerating, I wish I was,’ she began.

She explained that the issue began when she couldn’t secure tickets during the initial sale and had to opt for resale options, resulting in a price much higher than originally listed.

‘My sister and I ended up getting tickets for a Montreal show, and we each paid $2,500 for floor seats. It was incredibly pricey, but we decided we had to go because Ariana is our favorite artist,’ Campbell shared.

Campbell further mentioned that due to a technical glitch, more than one ticket might have been charged to her after her original purchase was canceled and then reinstated.

A social media influencer from Australia, Jade Campbell, expressed her frustration after alleging that Ticketmaster mistakenly charged her $80,000 for Ariana Grande concert tickets.

‘About two hours afterwards, we received an email stating our tickets were canceled. We panicked, contacted Ticketmaster, and they advised us to try purchasing the tickets again,’ she recounted.

‘We tried to get tickets in a different row, but it wouldn’t go through. But we later checked our credit card and thousands of dollars had been charged. These were in amounts of like $4,500, $5,000, various amounts, not just one charge.’

She finished by saying the accumulated cost was $80,000, and it was extremely difficult to rectify the ongoing situation.

It follows reports that Ariana Grande said she was ‘bothered’ after her Eternal Sunshine tour sold out within minutes and scalpers were already attempting to resell tickets with hiked-up prices.

On Sunday, the singer-songwriter, 32, took to social media to address her fans’ concerns and said she is ‘fighting for a solution’ so they can attend her long-awaited tour in 2026.

This comes after some of her fans vented about how they were unable to purchase tickets during the presale and general sale.

Many resale tickets from third-party retailers are now priced at over 10 times the face value for several of her shows, and Grande assured fans that she has been ‘on the phone every second of my free time’ even though she has been ‘on set all week.’

On Saturday morning, she shared a post and wrote: ‘Hi my angels, I have been on set all week but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention.’

The pop star — who fans are convinced has broken up with or is heading towards a split with her boyfriend and Wicked co-star Ethan Slater — added: ‘Of course I am incredibly bothered by it.’

The Supernatural hitmaker continued, ‘I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. Hopefully we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right.’

She assured her fans that she and her team were ‘doing everything we can.’

Grande’s comments come after tickets for her 36 shows in 2026, including the additional dates she added earlier this week, were snapped up almost immediately.
