CNN's Scott Jennings goes ballistic on top Democrat who prayed for Trump's death: 'Complete piece of s**t'

Conservative CNN contributor Scott Jennings lashed out at Minnesota Governor Tim Walz after the Democrat seemed to acknowledge the viral rumor suggesting that Donald Trump had passed away.

‘I’ll tell you who is a complete piece of s**t. I’ll tell you right now,’ a fiery Jennings said on Tuesday’s episode of The Area with Kasey Hunt.

‘Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota.’

Jennings mentioned Walz in relation to the weekends’ conjecture that Trump, aged 79, might have died since he hadn’t made a public appearance in four days.

On Monday, Walz told a crowd in Duluth, Minnesota, that such a day would come.

‘The last few days, you woke up thinking there might be news,’ Walz said.

‘Just saying, just saying – there will be news, sometime. Just so you know, there will be news.’

Members off the crowd laughed in response.

‘I used to say [Walz] was the biggest buffoon in American politics, but it’s worse now,’ an irate Jennings told the CNN panel Tuesday.

‘No political leader or elected representative should express the hope that we wake up and find the President of the United States has passed away.’

‘Crazy. Absolutely crazy.’

On Tuesday, the president was asked about the rumors at an Oval Office press conference.

‘I knew they were saying: “Is he OK? How is he feeling? What’s wrong?”‘ Trump said. ‘I was very active this Labor Day.’

On CNN Tuesday, Hunt went on to ask why Jennings had not posed the same question to Trump during a telephone interview he did with the president.

Jennings continued, ‘Well, when I heard him on the phone and he sounded very much alive, I realized how foolish it would be to ask a living person if they were deceased.’

The rumors first surfaced Friday after multiple White House reporters observed the president had not been seen in public since Tuesday, August 26.
