Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett recently faced scrutiny after several errors were found on her campaign website, prompting her team to swiftly make corrections.

The 44-year-old Democrat, known for her dynamic presence, kicked off her Senate campaign two months ago. While she communicated her views on important social matters in the state, it appeared the content hadn’t been thoroughly proofread before going live.

Featured under the campaign slogan ‘Crockett Texas Tough,’ a list highlighted her ‘priorities,’ but it contained noticeable oversights.

In one instance, discussing the role of insurance companies in supporting mental health, Crockett’s team inadvertently left in the phrase ‘write out your bullet point here,’ a placeholder text often used during website development.

Senior CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere was among the first to notice and report the error before it was corrected.

The original text read: ‘Requiring all major insurance providers to include full mental healthcare coverage, including prescription medications and therapiesWrite out your bullet points here. Anything from a sentence to a paragraph works.’

The bullet point has since been shortened to: ‘Requiring all major insurance providers to include full mental healthcare coverage, including prescription medications and therapies.’

Online users also uncovered that her campaign added a bullet point praising her work on gun control in the Social Security section of her website. That error has since been amended.

People quickly took to social media to blast the congresswoman, as one posted on X: ‘Hot mess Jasmine Crockett’s messy website.’

‘A very serious campaign that is definitely trying to win and not grift,’ another commented.

Someone else chimed in: ‘Somebody used chatgpt to iterate and no one read the final graphic lol.’

Other users joked that the mental health blunder about writing out bullet points can actually be helpful.

‘To be fair, that’s not bad advice,’ they stated.

Another shared: ‘That’s good advice. Letting your feelings flow on paper is good for your mental health.’

Crockett, who is a vocal critic of Donald Trump, announced her Senate bid in December after ex-congressman Collin Allred announced that he would seek a seat in the House instead.

Allred said he dropped out to avoid an ugly primary – and a likely runoff that would be triggered if no candidate receives a majority in the first round of the March 3 vote.

Crockett is set to face off with Rep. James Talarico in the primary, with the winner set to challenge the Republican incumbent Sen. John Cornyn or a primary rival like AG Ken Paxton.

The two-term representative’s fiery rhetoric, including branding Trump ‘Temu Hitler’ and calling his supporters ‘mentally ill’, has put her on the map nationally.

She also sensationally called Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene a ‘bleach blonde bad built butch body.’

Greene recently surprised the country by quitting Congress following a bitter feud about Trump, her former ally.

Beyond her rhetoric, the public has gone on to question Crockett’s personal dealings.

She came under fire in November after it was revealed that her campaign spent at least $75,000 on exclusive hotels, transportation, and security last year, according to a Federal Election Commission filing.

The same month she announced her bid for Senate, it was revealed that she refused to pay more than $3,000 on an unpaid lien against her swanky Dallas condominium, court records showed.

Crocket has owed $3,047.79 to the Westside Condominium Association for over a year, according to a lien filed on April 11, 2024, Fox News Digital reported.

The lien, which gives the association a legal claim on the unit and blocks her from selling the property until her debt is paid off, said the liberal has decided not to pay her large debt despite being told to do so.

Per the lien, Crockett ‘is in default in her obligation for payment of assessments and has failed and refused and continues to fail and refuse, despite demand upon her, to pay the Association assessments and related charges properly levied against the Property.’

She purchased the condominium, which is referred to as a ‘refreshing retreat’, in May 2014, per county records reviewed by the outlet.

Her lavish pad comes with a clubhouse, pool, stunning kitchens, and bathrooms ‘designed with spa-like features,’ according to a description of Westside Condos on Homes.com.

The Daily Mail contacted Crockett’s team for comment.
