Earlier this summer, Eva Longoria had to skip what many dubbed the ‘wedding of the century’ due to her professional commitments. However, that hasn’t put a dent in her enduring friendship with Lauren Sanchez.

The two longtime friends seemed to be in high spirits as they reunited at the newly opened Funke, an Italian eatery by chef Evan Funke, on Monday evening. The Beverly Hills hotspot provided the perfect setting for the pair to enjoy an evening of fine dining and camaraderie.

Lauren Sanchez, 55, who recently exchanged vows with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, embraced the Halloween spirit with her fashion choice. She sported a bold, edgy ensemble featuring a sheer lace skirt paired with a black top that highlighted her neckline.

Eva Longoria, at 50, opted for a business casual look. She donned a chic white satin crop top, a taupe blazer, and comfortable baggy jeans, striking a balance between elegance and ease.

Newlywed Sanchez, 55, who tied the knot with Amazon CEO Bezos over the summer, was embracing the spooky season in a rather edgy look consisting of a sheer lace skirt and cleavage-accentuating black top.

Longoria, 50, went for business casual with a white satin crop top, taupe blazer, and baggy jeans.

The smiles on their faces proved all is well within their friendship after Longoria had to miss out on her pal’s nuptials due to a scheduling conflict.  

The Texas native was busy filming CNN’s Eva Longoria: Searching for France, the Daily Mail previously confirmed. 

Eva’s husband José Bastón, 57, had also recently undergone surgery on his shoulder.

The Desperate Housewives star did attend Lauren’s bachelorette party in Paris, however.  

Eva told People about the bachelorette: ‘I had to pop in and out, so I wasn’t there as long. But yeah, it’s so nice to celebrate love. It’s just the best feeling in the world to be there and go, “Yay, love.”‘

The petite beauty showed up in one of Kim Kardashian’s Instagram post from the celebratory getaway, appearing alongside Kris Jenner and the bride-to-be.

The CNN series Eva Longoria: Searching For Spain is a hit on the cable news channel.

After the success of her initial show, Searching For Mexico, the Spanish installment was filmed.

Longoria was unable to attend Lauren’s star-studded nuptials to Jeff Bezos earlier this year due to a work commitment 

She has since travelled to neighboring France for the next adventure in the Searching For franchise. 

Described as the ‘wedding of a century,’ Sanchez and Bezos exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 VIPs on San Giorgio Maggiore island in Venice, Italy, back in June.

Famous faces including Orlando Bloom, Brooks Nader, and Jenner’s daughters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner were among the list of high-profile guests.

The wedding, held two years after Jeff proposed to Lauren aboard his $500 million superyacht, was described as ‘extremely intimate’ with a strict no-phone policy – around 70 of the 200 guests were family members.

During wedding week, the philanthropist debuted her stunning Schwartz ring while stepping out in a Schiaparelli gown.

Courtesy of celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, the ring is believed to be around 30 carats – valued between $1.5 million and $3 million.
