Katy Perry has silenced speculation about sluggish ticket sales by revealing blockbuster figures from her ongoing Lifetimes world tour.

The pop icon has reportedly sold 1.1 million tickets and brought in over $80 million in revenue, according to figures shared by her management and reported by Billboard.

The staggering total reflects earnings from shows across the U.S., Canada and Australia, with more legs of the global trek still to come.

Perry began her North American tour in Houston on May 7 and concluded it in Miami on August 23, making stops in over 20 cities like Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Atlanta.

In Canada, her performances drew large audiences in cities such as Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Quebec City, and Montreal, where she played in front of Justin Trudeau, before she headed to Australia for 13 sold-out shows from June 9 to June 30.

Perry has embraced a vivid and theatrical theme for The Lifetimes Tour, which revolves around the idea of her ‘saving the world’ amid a dazzling array of butterflies, each symbolizing a different phase of her career.

Katy Perry has quieted rumors about slow ticket sales by unveiling impressive numbers from her ongoing Lifetimes world tour; she was seen in August 2025.

The massive production is set to span 91 shows across Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.

Next up, the Firework hitmaker is preparing for her first-ever Latin American stadium shows, before taking the spectacle to Europe in October.

That leg will include stops in Glasgow, Manchester and London, along with shows in Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France, Spain, Italy and beyond.

Demand has been so high that Perry has already added multiple extra dates, including two in Paris, five in Australia and one in China.

Her six China shows, two in Hangzhou, three in Shanghai and one in Haikou, sold out in just one minute after going on sale, her team confirmed.

With many shows still to come and high demand around the globe, The Lifetimes Tour is gearing up to be one of the most profitable and extensive ventures of Perry’s career.

The update comes months after claims she was experiencing ‘disappointing’ ticket sales in select cities.

In March, The Sun reported that ‘expectations were high and she is disappointed by the lack of interest in some countries and venues.’

‘Some people involved thought it would be a massive wave with ticket sales exploding quickly, but sadly she is not Taylor Swift’ an insider told the outlet.

The source added that Perry was ‘excited and inspired’ by Swift after attending The Eras Tour.

‘She knows she can count on her to give her some positive feedback,’ the California Gurls hitmaker noted. ‘Taylor wants Katy to succeed and have a great tour, and enjoy her time while on the road, and Katy appreciates that.’

Perry experienced backlash for working with music professional Dr. Luke on her latest album, 143.

Dr. Luke – who previously collaborated with Perry on hit singles such as 2008’s I Kissed a Girl, 2010’s California Gurls and 2013’s Roar – settled a defamation lawsuit with singer Kesha, 37, in 2023, after she claimed in a 2014 lawsuit that he had sexually and physically abused her.

Perry’s seventh studio release failed to reach the level of success hoped, and instead became the lowest scoring album on Metacritic since 2011 when it dropped in September.
