Les, a 45-year-old Englishman, unfortunately, died after getting into danger off the coast of Fife on Sunday.

According to reports, a rescue team was immediately dispatched when the alarm was raised at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.
As mercy personnel hurried to the scene, coastguard helicopter crews were observed near Kinghorn Beach.

Regrettably, authorities have verified that Les has died.

Les has also been referred to be a “much-loved family man.”
Following the tragedy on Sunday, his family issued a statement.

The death will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal, according to police.

“Les was a much-loved family guy and will be missed by everyone who knew him,” his family stated in a statement.

“The event was reported to police about 9.55 a.m., and Mr Elder was rescued from the sea but died a short time later,” a police official said.

“A report has been issued to the Procurator Fiscal, as with all unexpected deaths.”
