Michael J. Fox found himself at the center of swirling death rumors, which sent his fans into a frenzy, prompting him to address the false reports.

The beloved star of “Back to the Future” is very much alive, despite a major error by CNN that erroneously suggested otherwise.

On Wednesday, an article from CNN with the startling headline, “Remembering the Life of Actor Michael J. Fox,” alarmed his dedicated followers.

Fox, 64, swiftly allayed any concerns via his representative, who confirmed to TMZ that the actor was perfectly fine and had even participated in an event the previous day, engaging actively on stage.

“Michael is doing great,” his representative assured, noting, “He attended PaleyFest yesterday, where he was on stage and conducting interviews.”

CNN promptly corrected the mistake, releasing a statement to the Daily Mail, acknowledging, “The article was published in error; we have removed it from our platforms and apologize to Michael J. Fox and his family.”

Meanwhile, Fox, who has lived with Parkinson’s disease since 1991, was out in full force on Tuesday.

He also made a surprise appearance at the Shrinking season 3 wrap party.

Bill Lawrence, co-creator of the Apple TV series, joined fellow co-creator and star Jason Segel at the event, which also saw a star-studded turnout featuring Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams and more.

The death rumors surfaced after Fox recently reunited with his Back to the Future co-star Christopher Lloyd.

Taking to Instagram, Fox shared that the two had caught up, posting a photo with the caption: ‘Dining with my bestie at the beach. Next year BTTF is 41. Great Scott.’

Fox famously starred as Marty McFly in the original Back to the Future, where his character forms an unlikely friendship with Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown (Lloyd) and journeys back to the 1950s in a time-traveling DeLorean.

Earlier this month, Fox made an appearance at the Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.

He shared a heartwarming tale about how his acting career led to his meeting his wife, Family Ties co-star Tracy Pollan, with whom he has four children.

Pointing to his son Sam, 36, who was seated beside him, Fox quipped, ‘By the way, he’s not an actor, he’s just my date.’

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, at just 29 years old, and publicly revealed his condition in 1998. O

ver the years, his symptoms have progressively worsened, with Fox revealing in interviews that he experiences tremors, difficulty with movement, and speech challenges.

Despite these setbacks, Fox continues to raise awareness and funding for Parkinson’s research through his foundation, which has raised over $1 billion for clinical trials and research aimed at finding a cure.
