House Speaker Kevin McCarthy revealed on Tuesday that embattled Republican Rep. George Santos is facing a House Ethics investigation.
‘Ethics is moving through, and if Ethics finds something, we’ll take action,’ McCarthy told CNN. Right now we’re not allowing him to be on committees from the standpoint of the questions that have arisen.’
The New York Republican, dubbed the Long Island Liar for the many fabrications he made about his biography during his campaign, told the network he was ‘not concerned’ about the House Ethics investigation.
