At least three people were killed and one was critically injured just after a car collided with a snowplough in Montgomery County on Monday evening, according to authorities.

Around 7 p.m., an accident occurred on Columbia Pike near Briggs Chaney Road in Fairfield. As of 8 p.m., all lanes were closed.
The accident occurred after a blizzard dumped up to a foot of snow on the DC metro area early Monday.
The names of the individuals involved were not released by the police. The accident is still being investigated.
