Randy Orton Def. Drew McIntyre

Randy Orton was accompanied by Jelly Roll, while Drew McIntyre was flanked by Logan Paul.

Randy Orton set up Drew McIntyre on a table. He chased Logan Paul off, then hit a back suplex on the table followed by a suspension DDT.

Paul caused a distraction as Orton went for an RKO. McIntyre hit a Claymore when Orton turned around, but Orton got his foot on the rope.

Fans came alive for a confrontation between Logan Paul and Jelly Roll. Jelly Roll knocked Paul on his butt to a huge pop.

McIntyre threatened Jelly Roll, only to walk into an RKO for a welcome-back loss. After the match, Logan Paul knocked Randy Orton out with a punch. Jelly Roll came to Orton’s aid yet again, blocking a Paul KO Punch and answering with a knockout of his own. Fans chanted “Jelly!” Drew McIntyre ended the segment with a Claymore to Jelly Roll.

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton Grade: B-

Solo Sikoa Def. Jimmy Uso; Jacob Fatu Returns

Bianca Belair will be the special guest referee tomorrow at WWE Evolution when Jade Cargill faces Naomi. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bianca aligned with Naomi, but it seems premature for Evolution.

Jimmy Uso came out of the brakes hot, with multiple strikes and kicks to Solo.

MFT got involved to tip the scales in Solo’s favor. As Jimmy Uso fought them off, including a kick to Talla Tonga, Sikoa rolled up Jimmy Uso and won with help from Talla.

After the match, Jacob Fatu returned and attacked MFT, running them all off.

Backstage, Jelly Roll told an apologetic Randy Orton that Jelly Roll was a grown man. RK-Roll challenged McIntyre and Paul to a tag team match at WWE SummerSlam.

Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso Grade: B

LA Knight Def. Seth Rollins, Who Suffers An Injury

Michael Cole was sure to note that Seth Rollins may cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase after Goldberg vs. Gunther.

LA Knight took control early, but as usual, the heel Seth Rollins had the match under control by the time WWE returned from break.

LA Knight battled back after Rollins worked over his midsection. Knight tried running up the ropes to hit a suplex, but Rollins countered with a Buckle Bomb.

Seth Rollins got injured after tweaking his surgically repaired knee. The ringside doctor tended to Rollins. Fans in State Farm Arena did not buy it. Rollins awkwardly limped into a BFT as LA Knight won clean. It seems like Rollins may have legitimately torn his ACL, but this could also be a red herring to make viewers think Seth Rollins isn’t cashing in.

LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins Grade: C+

Gunther Def. Goldberg

Goldberg walked out with Ernest “The Cat” Miller as part of his entourage. Fans were almost unanimously behind Goldberg.

Goldberg opened the match on offense, with clotheslines to Gunther. Every time Gunther would cut off Goldberg’s offense, Goldberg came back with a power move. Gunther did a great job playing to Goldberg’s strengths.

Goldberg also looked strong while shrugging off chops from Gunther. SNME went to its final commercial break, but not before Goldberg speared through the barricade. When SNME came back from break, Gunther was all over Goldberg’s knee.

Goldberg accidentally Speared referee Charles Robinson. Gunther went back to Goldberg’s knee and beat him with his own knee brace. Gunther taunted Gabe, who jumped the barricade before being escorted out. Goldberg Speared and Jackhammered Gunther.

The second referee counted a long two as the State Farm Arena was ready to explode. Gunther recovered and submitted Goldberg.
