A few years ago, when he was 88 years of age, he was detected to have Alzheimer’s disease. There is news of him passing away on Sunday, November 2021.
He was the winner of the 1968 National Book Award for poetry. Everyone love the legendary and admired his work. His passing news was revealed by Loren Niemi through Facebook.
