Air New Zealand, New Zealand’s national carrier, has announced its new CEO, Nathan Guy, with considerable delight.

In November 2020, he joined the company as a fresh-faced, wide-eyed flight attendant, serving now-reduced domestic routes.

Guy stated that he had no intention of advancing up the corporate ladder, much less taking over the entire $2 billion corporations.

Nathan is also a National Party politician from New Zealand who was elected to Parliament as a list MP in 2005.

Following the 2008 election, he served the Taki electorate and acted as Minister of Immigration from 2011 to 2013.

From 1998 until 2005, the new Air New Zealand CEO sat on the Horowhenua District Council for eight years.

Is Greg Foran Leaving?

Greg Nathan, the outgoing CEO of Air New Zealand, is not leaving anytime soon, and all exit rumours are false.

As per the source, Greg has managed the digital team through the airline’s most challenging period while delivering on some critical projects.

At the start of what would be the airline’s most challenging year, the former Walmart CEO assumed command of Air New Zealand.

On his first day as CEO of Air New Zealand, the company announced that flights to Shanghai would be cancelled owing to a coronavirus epidemic.

Nathan Guy Salary Explored

Nathan Guy reportedly earns a base salary of $1.65 million as the CEO of Air New Zealand.

Guy has no previous experience in the corporate sector or with airlines.

However, he said that he would try to transfer abilities from his prior role as a National MP.

Nathan noted that as an MP, he spent a lot of time on flights and that he is now changing slightly into managing every single jet in the sky.

He will be in charge of all of New Zealand’s national airline’s operations and how they all work together to generate profit and growth.
