Actor Chris Noth, facing increasing allegations of sexual assault, has been dropped from the CBS drama “The Equalizer,” the show’s producers said Monday.

“Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately,” a statement from CBS and Universal Television said.

The producers said that Noth, 67, will appear in one further episode of the show, which is currently on a mid-season break, that has already been filmed, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Noth played the former CIA handler and friend of star Queen Latifah’s character Robyn McCall in the series. The show is set to resume on January 2.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, three women have leveled allegations of sexual assault against the actor, who appeared in “Sex and the City” and the 2021 reboot “And Just Like That,” dying of a heart attack in the first episode.

The incidents happened in 2004, 2010, and 2015, and Noth has denied them. He said the first two incidents, reported by The Hollywood Reporter, were consensual, and that he “has no idea who this woman is” about the latest allegation, reported by the Daily Beast.

Nevertheless, his agents, A3 Artists Agency, dropped him from its client list, and Peleton — which filmed an ad with the actor after his appearance in “And Just Like That” — pulled the ad from its social media channels.
