Why Was Harold Moody Jr Arrested?

Harold Moody Jr was arrested for distributing sexual content online. Homeland Security Investigation officers were shocked when they found him spreading illegal content while conducting an undercover investigation into child exploitation chatrooms.

He was seen in these chatrooms at least five times by the undercover officers working on the case, according to Justice Gov.  The investigators found him distributing explicit content online two times on August 29 and one time on September 7, September 9, and October 12, respectively.

The case dates back to 2018. The officers observed him in the chatroom through his webcam. he was visible, and they found that he was doing all of it from an office setting in the background.

The case has been talking of the town after Keith Farnham, Democratic Illinois State Representative has been taken into custody for the exact charges. Since Hardy was also a speaker for Arkansas Democratic Party, people have been investigating similar cases in the past.

He was charged for both of them. The convicted may get a sentence of not less than five years and not more than 20 years in prison, as well as a supervised release for five years to life and a fine of up to $250,000 for distributing such explicit content of child abuse.

Likewise, a maximum sentence of ten years in jail, five years to life on supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000 is imposed on those who possess such videos or images.
