    Nate Gidman Brain Tumor: Who Is He?

    In the year 2016, Nate Gidman was born. At the age of four, he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.

    Radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and stem cell therapy were all required for the young football fan. Meanwhile, he was dealing with post-surgery complications.

    Nate was released from the hospital in the late 2020s. He’d spent the majority of 2021 undergoing various treatments, including chemotherapy.

    Nate, a five-year-old Tranmere Rovers fan, led the team onto the field at Prenton Park in December 2021.

    He was announced as the Rovers’ special guest and mascot after their game on December 18, 2021. In addition, he was named MOTM for the month of December.

    His situation came to light for Tranmere supporters after Phil (father) started sharing updates about their struggle on Twitter.

    Nate Gidman – How Old Was He? – Details Of His Age

    Nate Gidman passed away at the age of six. Medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor found in children, was the cause of his death.

    Tranmere Rovers broke the sad news of his death on their official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

    “Everyone at Tranmere is devastated to hear of the passing of Nate Gidman, a brave little boy who was taken into the hearts of the SWA as he battled a brain tumor,” the football club wrote.

    “Rest easy, Nate. We won’t forget our little superhero.”

    Upon hearing the sad news, many Tranmere Rovers supporters have also provided a tribute to his family members.

    Family – Who Are His Parents?

    Nate Gidman’s parents are Phil Gidman (father) and Nicola Smith (mother). The family has been living in Lincoln, a city in England’s East Midlands.

    Shortly after Nate’s fourth birthday, the parents had discovered that he was suffering from a brain tumor.

    In early 2021, the parents were already informed by the doctors that Nate’s cancer had rapidly progressed in his brain and spine.

    Nate Gidman’s father Phil had started sharing updates about their struggle on Twitter. He is active with the handle @Gidsentinel.

    On his Twitter bio, he has mentioned ” Father of December MOTM winner Nate Gidman”

    The bio also states that Phil is an aspiring technologist and a melon enthusiast.
