Henry Tippie, an American businessman, died on February 20, 2022. He was reportedly inducted into the NYSE Hall of Fame for pioneering the leveraged buyout.
Surprisingly, he had also served in World War II. Henry was well-known as the namesake of the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business.

Well, their love story began in the summer of 1955. Love was in the air but the couples didn’t know that yet.
Reportedly, Henry met the love of his life at Plantation Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Well, Patricia was working as a new waitress there.
Well, Patricia still remembers his first order – Hamburger and fries with a side of applesauce and Tomato juice. However, things didn’t go smoothly for her as she had to wait quite a long time to receive an order.
According to a comic, Patricia never knew that Henry was a regular at Plantation. Initially, she never wanted to wait on him again.
But, she had no other option and started to serve him regularly. One day, Henry asked if he could help her in her studies.
Eventually, the businessman asked her for a date. Well, that was quite a night for the couples.
Soon enough, the pair started going out often, partying with friends, and playing cards. After the summer vacation, Patricia moved back to college.
Nevertheless, their relationship didn’t end there as it continued with tons of love letters. In January 1956, Henry popped the question and it was an absolute yes from Patricia.
On June 27, 1956, the duo tied the knot. As her husband is no more, she is devastated and mourning his death.
Now, Henry is survived by his three children, nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Well, the couples were happily in love until he left the world silently.
