New Jersey State Police credit social media with helping identify a woman found dead at the beginning of the month on the shore of a waterfront park.

Police released a digital sketch of the woman, whose body was found at Waterfront Park in Carteret on February 2, earlier this week.

“As a result of social media, the victim has been identified. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share the post,” state police said in an updated post on Twitter.

Officials said the woman died from drowning, and “There were no signs of trauma or foul play,” NJ.com reported.

Police have not yet released the woman’s identity.
