Moore was a former rider who represented both Great Britain and Scotland. And most notably in the 1998 Commonwealth Games, he went on to become one of the world’s most notable cycling journalists.
Richard was a successful, varied, and prolific author and journalist prior to the launch of the podcast in 2013.
According to the Podcast, his novels earned accolades, and his kindness and wit gathered friends of different personality types from sports and countries.
The statement continues to read, “to us, he was a natural power, unfailing but above all uniting. There is no consolation tonight, but the knowledge that the network of care and love he constructed will now become a pillar of support.”
The podcast also claims that Richard was driven by his dual passions for cycling and journalism. And it was because of his passion that he was able to achieve his greatest success with The Cycling Podcast.
His listeners became more than simply listeners and made friends from all over the world.
The page also expresses how fortunate they are to have known Richard and to keep his towering legacy alive.
