Due to misadjustment of the seat and the use of faulty safety indicators, the kid died due to faulty park management. The free-standing drop tower stood at 430 feet, it was the tallest standing tower, but once it reached the top, it sped at 30 degrees per hour.

In addition, the freefall rides often have a shoulder harness and a seatbelt, but the FreeFall ride of ICON park seems to only have a shoulder harness; thus, the kid’s death was due to the lack of proper safety protocol.
