Kerr says he returned to training the day after learning of his father’s death.

Kerr, who was 19 years old at the time of his father’s death and already a star at the University of Arizona, is a vocal opponent of the unrestricted right to bear weapons in the United States and has been a vocal opponent of school and shopping mall shootings for years.
