36-year-old Tyler Zanella, a former paraprofessional at Poudre School District in Fort Collins, Colorado, has been charged with 35 additional counts of child abuse aside from the initial 129 charges Tyler Zanella faces.

Tyler Zanella was arrested in May for allegedly abusing kindergartners with disabilities on multiple occasions.
Six victims of Tyler Zanella were initially identified through surveillance video, all of whom were at-risk due to disabilities. The new charges Tyler Zanella is facing involve five additional victims, bringing the total number of victims to 11.
The charges Tyler Zanella is facing include assault, harassment, and child abuse. Tyler Zanella now faces a total of 164 charges.
In 2012, Tyler Zanella was previously arrested for child abuse, but the case was dismissed after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of child abuse negligence with no injury.

Tyler Zanella has been released on bond but is not allowed contact with his children while awaiting prosecution.
Tyler Zanella had requested a modification to his bond to allow supervised visits with his children, but the request was denied by Judge Daniel M. McDonald, COLORADOAN reported.
Family members of the victims of Tyler Zanella spoke out against the modification, describing the extent of the abuse witnessed on video surveillance.
COLORADOAN added that Tyler Zanella’s court date has been postponed until October 18 to allow time for evidence review.
