Janel Grant Files Lawsuit Against Vince McMahon and WWE for Sexual Misconduct

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee has filed a federal lawsuit against Former WWE Executive Vince McMahon in federal court for sexual misconduct and trafficking. The complaint concerns another former executive and makes troubling allegations regarding McMahon’s WWE behavior. The case in U.S. District Court in Connecticut alleges forced sexual interactions between McMahon and Grant, emotional abuse, and explicit content distribution. These severe charges have alarmed wrestling fans and others.

In Janel Grant’s complaint against WWE and McMahon, the WWE and former CEO John Laurinaitis are named as defendants, revealing alleged malfeasance within the professional wrestling corporation. She went public with the lawsuit to avoid further victims and raise accountability.

While McMahon has stepped down as WWE’s CEO amid an investigation into the allegations, the parent company, TKO Group, issued a statement affirming their commitment to addressing the matter internally. The lawsuit has triggered a serious reaction both within WWE and among the wrestling fanbase.
