She always makes a style statement on the red carpet.

And Abbie Chatfield once again turned heads at the 2024 AACTA Awards on the Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon.

The TV host, 28, showed off her impressive abs in a cropped silk white shirt teamed with a long black sweeping skirt.

She accessorised with a statement gold earrings and a matching gold necklace, bracelets and rings.

Abbie also went bold with her makeup, wearing a bright baby blue eyeshadow and retro-style wing-tipped eyeliner.

The FBoy island host had her brunette locks coiffed in soft waves to complete the sixties-style aesthetic.

Last year, Abbie revealed she had lost weight, which has led to trolls falsely accusing her of being on diabetes drug Ozempic.

Ozempic, also known as Wegovy, was originally formulated to treat type 2 diabetes, but is also being prescribed off-label for weight loss.

The drug contains semaglutide, which reduces the appetite by increasing the feeling of fullness after eating.

This essentially guarantees a calorie deficit because the user feels less hungry.

Abbie told the Something to Talk About podcast she was not getting the weight-loss injections and was uncomfortable with people speculating about her changing body.

There are ‘many reasons’ why she lost weight, Abbie explained, including being on other medication, walking and training more often, and only eating one meal a day because of her busy schedule.

‘It’s really confronting to me when people say, “You’ve lost too much weight,”‘ she said.

‘I don’t particularly like how much weight I’ve lost. You can see my rib cage; it makes me feel weird.’

‘I don’t like how my body looks anymore,’ she added.

‘I get comments from strangers saying I look great, or feigned concern from them in my DMs… I find the accusations around why I’ve lost weight bizarre.’

Last year, Abbie also announced she was walking away from her successful Hit Network show Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield.

She decided to leave the gruelling gig behind to focus on her podcast It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield.

She also claimed she wanted to devote more time to her budding television career, and her personal life.

Announcing her exit from radio in an Instagram post, Abbie insisted that she was ‘happy’ with her decision and was looking forward to the future.

‘I simply need to put my energy into projects that bring me joy and that energise me, rather than drain me,’ she explained at the time.

‘I’m looking forward to socialising with my friends and family as well! Always a bonus.’

The Masked Singer judge also said that she wanted to make way for up-and-comers in the radio industry to have a seat at the table.

‘It’s also time to give someone else a go who would enjoy and appreciate the opportunity more than myself. I have so much on, and daily radio takes up so much time. I simply wasn’t enjoying myself day to day in that environment,’ she said.

Abbie stressed that it was solely her decision to end the show and insisted that her podcast will still be hosted by the network.
