Kim Kardashian snaps at security guard for stepping on 2025 Met Gala dress

Kim Kardashian scolded a security guard after he stepped on her dress while she was heading to the 2025 Met Gala on Monday night.

The 44-year-old founder of Skims was spotted scolding one of her security team members as she and her daughter, North West, 11, exited the luxurious Ritz-Carlton hotel in New York City.

In a now-viral TikTok clip, the mother of two is shown leaving the hotel to greet a crowd of fans and photographers when a bodyguard accidentally stepped on the train of her bespoke Chrome Hearts ensemble.

The ordeal stopped the mom of four in her tracks before she turned toward the unidentified man.

Though the wide brim of her leather fedora covered most of her face, Kardashian was seen shooting the man an angry look after the mishap.

“Can you watch where you step?” Kardashian allegedly told the man, expert lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Mirror.

Moments later, the “Kardashians” star hopped into a waiting vehicle that was taking her to The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

At fashion’s most anticipated event, themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Kardashian donned a corseted Chrome Hearts outfit, showcasing a bold, curve-enhancing style.

This year’s theme celebrated the styles of black dandy men and “the importance of clothing in style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora.”

Kardashian’s ensemble included a matching leather fedora and styled her long dark locks in sleek waves.

She completed the look with a stack of three diamond necklaces, matching earrings and two strands of pearls draped around her right hip.

The reality TV star wasn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to attend this year’s extravaganza.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the Skims founder’s younger half-sisters, also hit the red carpet in their plunging ensembles.

The veteran Met Gala regular has earned her stripes as one of the most daring attendees of the annual fashion event since her first appearance on the Met steps in 2013 as a guest of then-boyfriend Kanye West.

Last year, the billionaire businesswoman similarly opted for an extra-cinched style in a silver brocade corset created by John Galliano for Maison Margiela.

Other notable moments include her 2023 Marilyn Monroe moment that inspired her to lose nearly 20 pounds and her totally masked Balenciaga gown from 2021, which was inspired by West, and her infamous 2019 Thierry Mugler “dripping wet” look.
