In Savannah, Georgia, the Johnson Atomsmashers cheered for two of their football players who have decided to advance their sports and academic pursuits.

Johnathan Hill, an offensive lineman, has chosen to join Lakeland University’s football team in Wisconsin next year. Initially, he was going to attend a different college but opted for Lakeland when he found a more promising chance there.

Hill expressed his enthusiasm by stating, “They offer a strong football program and an excellent education program. There’s a lot that’s appealing in Lakeland. With the generous scholarship they provided, I knew it was the right choice. I’m excited to enjoy my time with them.”

Also committing is running back Isaiah Scott. He’s going to Andre College. He amassed 389 yards on 75 carries and three touchdowns. He also added another 84 yards on six receptions and another score.

“As a kid,” Scott said, “I always wanted to play football and go to the next level. This is a dream come true. That’s the first school that gave me a chance and I’m just big on being close to home for real.”

Congrats to Johnathan and Isaiah.
