DRAMATIC video has captured the moment Ivanka Trump’s bodyguard shoved away a man who got within feet of the first daughter.
Video shows a surprised Trump and her husband Jared Kushner being approached during a glitzy event ahead of the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
Trump, 43, and Kushner, 44, were captured on video holding hands while walking the red carpet as they left the upscale Carbone Beach venue in Miami on Saturday night.
The pair, who reside close to Miami Beach in an elite area known as Billionaire Bunker, were attending one of many events celebrating the F1 event. This particular event was won on Sunday by McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.
However, an unknown man then suddenly tried to approach the couple from the street, as they walked towards their parked SUV.
A man, seen in a black T-shirt and tan shorts, was holding what seemed to be a large brown folder in his left hand, as shown in a video posted on Instagram.
But the couple’s bodyguard refused to allow the bystander to hand Trump the folder.
Video captured the speedy reaction of the Secret Service agent who immediately shielded the pair.
He swiftly placed himself between Trump and the bystander, blocking him from the first daughter.
The burly bodyguard initially stopped the man’s advance by holding his left arm out to him – to keep him at a safe distance from Trump and Kushner.
Then, the video shows the agent suddenly launch into tougher action, forcefully shoving the man away when he appeared to persist with his approach.
Meanwhile, Trump turned her head momentarily to see the source of the commotion after hearing people nearby screaming in shock.
Upon seeing the bodyguard taking care of the tense situation, she then continued walking to the awaiting vehicle – without missing a step.
A protective Kushner, who also had a quick glance, then placed his hand on her back as she entered the SUV first.
A spokesperson for the Secret Service told The U.S. Sun that the man had got “too close” and that “safeguarding” measures were “swiftly” taken.
Their statement said: “During a protective movement on Saturday, May 3, 2025, an adult male encroached, coming too close to Secret Service personnel.
“A special agent immediately intervened, physically redirecting the individual to reestablish a safe perimeter.
“The public is reminded that during protective operations, maintaining a safe distance from law enforcement and protective personnel is essential.
“Adequate space ensures agents can respond swiftly to unexpected actions and helps safeguard everyone in the vicinity.”
The agent’s response won applause from impressed Americans, with one saying on social media of the viral clip, “He did good, there is no chance to think if he is approaching with good or bad intention.”
Another wrote, “Good for him, that’s a good body guard right there.”
And one person asked, “Can we get the camera’s angle that shows him hitting the ground?”
“That’s how I want my man to protect me,” responded another viewer.
However there were some negative comments, including from some who thought the agent appeared heavy-handed.
But he was defended by many viewers, including one who wrote, “You people don’t know if the old guy was a threat or not!
“Her father has been shot at. You think security shouldn’t be on edge?”
Meanwhile, Ivanka’s half-sister Tiffany is expecting her first child with husband Michael Boulos.
Sources close to Tiffany told The U.S. Sun that Ivanka’s support has been invaluable during the pregnancy process.
Her father has been shot at. You think security shouldn’t be on edge?
Ivanka’s security scare happened just months after her father, Donald Trump, survived two assassination attempts.
The FBI identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the man involved in the assassination attempt of Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Crooks opened fire with a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle while Trump was speaking on stage in the rural town.
Trump was quickly rushed to safety by Secret Service agents, with blood streaming from his ear down his cheek, after he was grazed with a bullet.
Nine weeks later, he was the target of what the FBI said “appears to be an attempted assassination” at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In December, a U.S. House of Representatives panel was told that the Secret Service had overhauled its security practices in the wake of the failed attempts.
Trump addressed the terrifying July shooting months later, claiming it was a “miracle” he had survived.
