Student Linked to Vile Antisemitic Sign at Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy's Bar Plays Victim Card

Whether you’re a fan of Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy or not — I am, very much so — the twist in the aftermath of students being caught displaying a vulgar antisemitic sign at Portnoy’s Philadelphia bar should be enough to exasperate, if not infuriate you, even more than the sign itself.

First, let’s recap (warning: profanity):

“I’ve been shaking. I’ve been so f***ing mad for the last two hours,” he stated in his initial video on the incident. “… I’m going to make it my life’s f***king mission to ruin these people. I’m coming for your throat. I’m never ending.”

“You think I’m going to tolerate this s*** at my bar?” he questioned. “I want consequences for f***ing actions. So, I’m not just sitting back … no, trust me. I have been on it,” he continued.

After Portnoy investigated the incident, he fired the two servers who were involved, at least one of whom he called a “total idiot.” He also identified two young men who were customers at the bar.

Now, as reported by Breitbart News, one of the young men, a student, is actually not only claiming he was the real victim; he’s absurdly blaming Portnoy for putting his life at risk.

Yes, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. But to have the guts to blame Portnoy after you went full-metal antisemitic as his bar, dude — that takes a helluva lot of chutzpah.

After the guilty parties were identified, Portnoy first said he would use the antisemitic incident for a “teachable moment” by personally paying for the two young men (students) to visit the Auschwitz death camp instead of publicly shaming them.

But, according to Portnoy, one of those responsible, Mo Kahn, who initially accepted the Barstool Sports founder’s beyond-gracious offer, later absurdly claimed that he was only working as a “citizen journalist.” Dave Portnoy then rescinded his offer to send them both to Auschwitz.

Even worse, Khan on Tuesday launched a GiveSendGo, asking for money while claiming that Portnoy unfairly subjected him to a lynch mob over what he said was a “joke.”

A joke? A joke?

Displaying a “F*** the Jews” sign — anywhere in public — much less in an establishment with Jewish ownership, is beyond disgusting. Khan pathetically wrote on GiveSendGo:

Remember, I’m a 21-year old college kid. I’m not a public figure. Dave is twice my age and a well-connected multi-millionaire with countless connections to supporters with institutional power. This asymmetric power dynamic is the reason why I previously made statements to Dave that do not accurately reflect what actually happened the other night and the responsibility I bear. I made those statements under extreme duress and threats to destroy me and my parents.

Appalling? Khan got even more delusional:

“Dave has built a reputation, career, and business empire based on being anti-cancel culture. But, in a shameless act of hypocrisy, he’s lynching me–an innocent young man–over a joke I didn’t even make,” he said. “In an attempt to expose me, he exposed himself as a total fraud. Dave Portnoy owes me an apology and restitution for the damage he’s caused me.

You can’t make it up — this self-unaware clown already did.
