AN Earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude rocked multiple states on Saturday morning.

The tremors that spread hundreds of miles hit several areas including Atlanta, Georgia, Knoxville Tennessee, and South Carolina.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that Greenback, Tennessee was hit with 4.1 magnitude just after 9am local time.

People living in impacted regions quickly went online to recount their experiences while the Carolina Weather Group YouTube Page started a live stream.

“Definitely the worst one i’ve ever felt living here my whole life,” one wrote.

“That was terrifying,” another added.

“I’m here in Tennessee and I feel my house shaking,” a third said as others described their water tanks creating waves.

So far there are no reports of any damage with 4.1m being a minor quake, according to USGS.
