Nuggets vs. Thunder Game 4 odds, prediction

The Nuggets pulled out another unlikely win on Friday night in Denver, but it’s going to be tough once again to make it two in a row.

Interim head coach David Adelman pulled out all the stops, playing his star players major minutes in the overtime victory.

Now, we might be in store for a repeat of the Thunder’s blowout in Game 2.

Nuggets vs. Thunder Game 4 betting preview

With the extra five minutes, the Nuggets’ entire starting five played 42 or more hard-fought minutes en route to the win.

The young legs of the Thunder saw much less playing time, with only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams playing more than 40 minutes.

Denver’s veteran squad will have less than 48 hours to recover with a 2:30 p.m. local time tip-off.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, center, drives to the basket as Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, left, and guard Russell Westbrook defend in the second half of Game 3 in the Western Conference semifinals of the NBA basketball playoffs Friday, May 9, 2025, in Denver.

OKC is likely due for some positive shooting variance in Game 4 as well.

The Thunder lost in overtime despite shooting just 38.5 percent overall and 25.7 percent from deep.

Gilgeous-Alexander, the likely NBA MVP, should be much better, in particular, after going just 7-of-22 from the floor for 18 points.

Betting on the NBA?

Home-court advantage has meant very little this postseason, and I expect that trend to continue on Sunday.

Look for the Thunder to even up this series on the road before heading to Oklahoma City.

The play: Thunder -6.5 (-110, Caesars Sportsbook)
