Jordon Hudson couldn’t conceal her disappointment after securing third place at the Miss Maine USA pageant on Sunday, but she maintained her composure upon leaving with her partner, Bill Belichick.

The 24-year-old former cheerleader and the 73-year-old football coach exited the Holiday Inn Portland-By The Bay in Portland, Maine, together on Sunday, hand in hand. Hudson was still clad in her evening gown and silver shoes, while Belichick donned a suit.

They then got into a Mercedes and were she was spotted smiling as Belichick, who supported Hudson throughout the weekend, drove the couple away.

Hudson, who had previously placed runner-up in the competition, took second runner-up this time and sported a sour look on her face over the result.

The duo, known for their notable age difference, have been under increased scrutiny lately since Hudson has taken a more active role in managing the Belichick image, effectively working as his PR representative.

She alluded to critics during a question-and-answer portion of the pageant.

“I hope anyone watching finds the strength to push through whatever they’re going through… hate never wins,” Hudson said.

The role Hudson has been playing in Belichick’s life has sparked concern among his family and friends, and she raised eyebrows for interrupting his recent “CBS Sunday Morning” interview when the North Carolina coach was asked how the two met.

“We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said after the question.

Sports journalist Pablo Torre reported on his “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast on Friday that Hudson was banned from UNC football facilities.

The school then said in a statement that she is “welcome” at the facilities.

“UNC can now choose to describe or change its position on Jordon Hudson’s involvement however it wishes, following the publication of our episode. We requested comment and filed dozens of FOIA requests that were not satisfied. And we stand by the specific reporting in our episode, which came from the highest levels of the football program,” Torre said in response to UNC.

Belichick had previously asked that Hudson be copied on all UNC emails sent to him.
