ST. JOSEPH, Ill. (WCIA) — Success is nothing new for St. Joseph-Ogden baseball, who holds a 29-2 record on the season.

One more win this year would give the Spartans a third season with at least 30 wins in four years.

Seniors on this team take pride in their program’s winning ways, crediting the coaching staff for building a strong foundation.

“It’s truly special; we have an incredible culture here in St. Joe, and our coaches are remarkable,” said senior Jarden Altenbaumer. “They push us to reach our full potential, and I believe our teammates have enhanced the experience.”

“I enjoy being part of this team because the coaches instill strength in us and help me improve as an individual each day,” senior Nolan Earley remarked. “I also love to win and am naturally competitive; they encourage this competitiveness and help me improve daily.”
