BRISTOL, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — Artists from around the country brought their guns and ink to Bristol’s State Street Tattoo Fest this weekend.
Tattoo enthusiasts returned home with new flash pieces and custom designs crafted by artists skilled in neo-traditional, fine-line, realism, and other distinctive styles. The festival draws nearly 1,000 participants annually to the tattoo chairs.
“We’re bringing in artists from all over the country,” said Justin Brown, owner of Bristol Tattoo. “Many of these people follow different artists and styles, so they have the opportunity to get a tattoo from someone who resides ten states away and collect a new piece of art.”
Brown encourages those who missed the opportunity for tattoos to visit the artists at their shops.
The State Street Tattoo Fest started in 2019. For a complete list of artists who attended the festival, click here.
