Another Poll, Another Trump Win: Americans Haven't Felt This Good About Key Indicator Since 2021

Even though there was some pessimism earlier in Trump’s second (non-consecutive) term, a new survey released on Monday indicates that most people feel quite positive about the economy’s trajectory.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, published on Monday, reported the first net-positive assessment of the U.S. economy’s strength since July 2021, which was during the initial months of former President Joe Biden’s term.

When respondents were asked, “how strong do you think the U.S. economy is today?” the majority of registered voters viewed it as “strong” under Trump as opposed to “weak” for nearly the entire Biden administration.

  • Strong: 51% (plus-5 points from April)
  • Weak: 49% (minus-6 points from April)

Those are some pretty nice numbers.

It’s hardly the only poll showing Americans like the new leadership a whole lot better than the previous inept bunch.
